This policy outlines how refunds, cancellations, and returns are handled for orders placed on doublechabirice.com.


 

1. Order Cancellations

a) Before Dispatch

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch by contacting support.
  • A full refund will be processed.

b) After Dispatch

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped.

 


 

2. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of food products:

We do not accept returns once the package has been opened or delivered successfully.

Refunds are applicable only in the following cases:

a) Damaged or Defective Product

  • Package received is physically damaged, leaked, or tampered.
  • Issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photos/video proof.

b) Incorrect Product Delivered

  • If a wrong product is shipped, report within 24 hours.

Once verified, we may:

  • Issue a replacement, or
  • Process a refund

 


 

3. Failed Deliveries / RTO (Return to Origin)

  • If delivery fails due to incorrect address, unavailability, or refusal:
    • Shipping charges may be deducted.
    • Refund (if any) will be processed after RTO confirmation.

 


 

4. Refund Timelines

  • Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay.
  • Refunds typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank.

 


 

5. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping fees (if charged) are non-refundable, except in cases of confirmed error from our side.
